​​Insecticides can be described as biological or chemical agents designed to control insects by harming them or repelling them from engaging in harmful activities.

How Do Insecticides Work?

​​In order to understand how exactly the chemical components within an insecticide apply death and injury to the insects, it is important to gain knowledge on the portion of the body affected by the use of these chemicals - the nervous system.
